Girona, October 16, 2026 On the 233rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Her Majesty Queen Marie Antoinette
To the dignitaries and chancelleries of the various Neo-Templar Orders:
Over the past few weeks, I have received, through various emails, repeated and formal invitations to join your respective institutions as Patron. I understand that, although your organizations lack an uninterrupted and direct historical affiliation with the ancient Order of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon—irrevocably dissolved by Pope Clement V through the bull Vox in excelso in 1312—you strive to keep alive the very spirit that animated its founders. It is precisely because of that spirit, and the historical course of its ideological heirs, that I find myself under the insurmountable moral obligation to categorically reject your offers.
History is not a silent canvas, and the threads woven in the shadows during the 18th century reveal a profound thirst for vengeance against the Throne and the Altar. It was the esoteric currents inheriting the Templar myth—those that swore to avenge the pyre of Jacques de Molay against Philip IV the Fair—which, transmuted into speculative Freemasonry, orchestrated the systematic destruction of the Sacred Mission of my ancestors.
Historical records are irrefutable regarding the Masonic conspiracy that overthrew His Majesty King Louis XVI. The subversion was not a mere popular uprising, but a meticulously oiled machinery within the lodges. The Grand Orient of France was the epicenter of this betrayal. At the head of this infamy stood no upstart, but corrupted royal blood itself: Louis Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, known in ignominy as 'Philippe Égalité.' Elected Grand Master of the Grand Orient in 1771, this nefarious ancestor of those who today usurp legitimacy by frivolously styling themselves 'Counts of Paris,' used the vast network of lodges to finance agitation, undermine royal authority, and, in the final act of his vileness, vote in favor of the execution of his own cousin, the King.
The influence of Freemasonry in the fall of the Traditional French Monarchy is widely documented beyond the betrayal of the Orléans. Lodges such as Les Neuf Sœurs (The Nine Sisters) sheltered and shaped key figures of revolutionary agitation and intellectual terror, while the Masonic network facilitated the rapid spread of the Jacobin clubs that would ultimately drench the entire nation in blood. The objective was never mere political reform, but the annihilation of the divine order that the French Crown represented.
Today, October 16, as Christendom and Legitimism sorrowfully remember the 233rd anniversary of the vile assassination of Queen Marie Antoinette in the Place de la Révolution, my historical memory precludes any rapprochement. The blood spilled at the guillotine drew an eternal dividing line between the House of Bourbon and those who, under the veil of fraternity or initiatic secrecy, conspired to extinguish the light of the Christian monarchy.
For the memory of the martyred kings, for fidelity to my lineage, and for the weight of history, I irrevocably decline any association, patronage, or affiliation with your orders.
May God always protect Truth and Justice.
H.R.H. the Prince of Bourbon-Conti and Bourbon de la Marche
